The print

The Cap Roig or red scorpion fish  lives in the rocky depths and coral zones of the Mediterranean where there is abundant vegetation. It is well camouflaged and blends in with the sea floor. It remains still resting on the floor waiting for its prey to pass by and then swiftly devours it. It is highly regarded in Mediterranean cuisine for its meat and for making the traditional “suquet de peix” fish stew.
